Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-13

These Terms of Service govern your use of the CarMaster platform operated by METACODER SRL. By creating an account or using the apps, you agree to these terms.

The service

CarMaster is a platform that connects vehicle owners (“drivers”) with service businesses and tow companies. Drivers can book services, request tows, and communicate with businesses. Businesses can manage bookings, dispatch tows, and run their operations.

CarMaster facilitates these connections. The actual repair, towing, or other work is performed by the independent service business you choose, who is solely responsible for that work and for any agreement you reach with them.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity on your account. You must be legally able to enter into these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service - including submitting false requests, interfering with its operation, or using it unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Bookings, tows and cancellations

Bookings and tow requests are confirmed and fulfilled by the chosen business. Availability, scheduling, pricing and cancellation of the underlying work are determined by that business. The apps provide cancellation controls subject to the status of the request. A customer cannot cancel a confirmed booking in the app within 2 hours of its scheduled start; at that point, contact the business directly. A business may end work it has started without finishing it, stating a reason, and the booking is then shown as cancelled by the business.

Ratings and user-generated content

After a completed job you may leave a score and a comment. The comment appears publicly on the location’s page, signed with your first name and last initial. Please write about your own experience, and do not include other people’s personal data, insults or untrue statements. We may remove a comment that breaches these rules or the law. You can delete your own rating at any time.

You keep the rights to what you post and grant us a non-exclusive right to display that content within the service.

Business plans and payment

The app is free for customers. Service businesses subscribe to a paid plan, on the terms below.

  • Price. The formula the subscription is calculated on (per workplace, per car entering repair, or a flat monthly fee) and the rates in force are those presented at the time of subscription. The price you agreed at sign-up stays with your subscription; a later change to the rates applies to businesses subscribing after that date.
  • Billing. We bill in arrears, at the end of the period. The invoice is issued electronically and transmitted to ANAF via e-Factura.
  • Payment term. Invoices are due 14 days from issue.
  • Late payment. After the due date there is a grace period of 7 days during which the account works normally and you receive notices. If the invoice is still unpaid at the end of it, the business account becomes read-only: the team can still see its data but cannot operate. Access is restored automatically once payment is confirmed.
  • SMS messages are metered separately and billed on usage, including during free months.
  • SMS limits. To protect the business and the platform from runaway costs, SMS are subject to a monthly limit per business, and they are also paused while unpaid invoices exceed a threshold. When the limit is reached, SMS stop until the next month; when the threshold is the reason, they resume automatically once payment is confirmed. In-app notifications and emails are not affected. The business’s admins are notified when 80% of the limit is used and when SMS stop. We can raise the limit on request.
  • Termination. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the billed period. We may stop providing the service for non-payment or for breach of these terms, on reasonable prior notice except where the law requires otherwise.

Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of the independent businesses you transact with, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. This document is provided in English and Romanian; in case of conflict the Romanian version prevails for users in Romania.

Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please write to us first at cm.metacoder@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it directly.

As a consumer you may at any time contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC). Information about alternative dispute resolution and the complaint form are available at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.

The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025. In its place, the European Commission maintains a register of national alternative dispute resolution bodies at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.

These routes are optional and do not affect your right to bring the matter before a court.
